Recently, I had the joy of photographing a young family along the lakeside path in Bellagio. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect: soft spring light dancing on the water, mountains framing the horizon, and that gentle rhythm of life that Lake Como naturally brings.
The beauty of photographing a little child
At two years old, children don’t pose—they explore. And honestly, that’s where the magic lives.
This little one was full of wonder. Every pebble on the path, every ripple in the lake, every passing boat became a discovery. Instead of directing too much, I let the moment unfold. My role shifted from “posing” to observing, anticipating, and capturing.
